This little number seems to fit the bill (it's not new, but that makes me all the more desirous of comments . . .)

Frontier

after Emily Dickenson

No settler of the mind—
A truth—as old as wandering.
The human moves—from being moved
To reimagining—

* Dickinson

I like this a lot, though with so few words I wonder about the repetition of "moves/moved." I'd change the first instance to "travels" or some other variation.
Also not sure about the need for a dash after truth. I think it would flow better without, and there are still plenty remaining to ensure the reader gets the Dickinson imitation.
